Introduction to Dementia Workshop
8.8 million people over 60 years old are diagnosed with dementia. By 2036, this number is expected to rise to 17 million.

If you or anyone you know has a family member or friend with dementia, this workshop is for you.
Target Audience :
- Family and friends of people living with dementia
- Allied health professionals working with the elderly (ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.)

- Causes and risk factors
- Signs and symptoms, including behavioral and psychological symptoms
- Diagnostic tests
- Types of dementia
- How to communicate with a person living with dementia
- How to meaningfully engage with a person living with dementia
Refreshments will be provided
Each session will accommodate a maximum of 15 participants. Seats are limited.
This workshop can be conducted online or face-to-face.
